Hydei Fruit Fly Culture

Regular price $14.00 Sale price $15.00 Unit price per
Shipping calculated at checkout.

Freshly seeded culture of Drosophila Hydei. Larger than Melanogaster and suitable for a variety of insects, reptiles, arachnids, and amphibians.

Please note:

If you order Fruit Flies for shipping, we will send you a freshly prepared 32oz cup, empty. There will be an 8oz cup in your package which contains the flies (approx. 250+ flies), in excelsior wood and a small amount of food for their trip.

When you receive your package simply tap the flies in to the 32oz cup. In 5 days or so, they will produce more larvae, which then become more flies. You can get 2-3 flushes of flies from a 32oz cup. Flies can be REFRIGERATED for 20mins to make them dormant so you can get them out of the cup easier!

Turn around time: There may be a 2 day turn around time, please take this into consideration when ordering. Cultures take a few days to start producing as well.

Note: THIS ITEM IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE FOR SHIPPING, AND LOCAL PICK UP.

Not always available for same day pick up. As with all other pick up items, please wait for your pick up notification.

Great culture

I am very pleased with the producing cultures. Lots of flies for plenty of mouths to feed.
